Purpose of the site
When designing a circuit, the same equations get worked out by hand many times. This site puts those calculations behind a single input step. It covers the items used most in practice, from resistor dividers and inductor selection for buck and boost converters to dB conversion, battery life and PCB trace width.
Who runs it
The site was built by an operator who has worked as a power IC application engineer for more than 20 years, using the equations and checks from real projects. Each calculator's explanation includes how it works, a worked example, design tips and limitations.
How the calculations work
All equations follow published standards such as textbooks, manufacturer datasheets and IPC guidelines. Calculations run in your browser on your device, and the values you enter are not sent to a server.
What to keep in mind
Results are approximations for early design review. Before choosing real parts, confirm them against the absolute maximum ratings and test conditions in the datasheet, with simulation, and by measurement on the real board. Do not rely on this site alone to judge safety or certification requirements.
